Triangle Striker Privacy Policy
The short version
- There is no account, no login and nothing to buy. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or contacts.
- Your progress and settings are saved on your device only.
- The game shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may use your device’s advertising ID to show and measure ads. Where the law requires it, for example in the EEA and the UK, you are asked for consent first and can change your answer in the game.
- Crash reports and performance data go to Google Firebase so we can fix bugs and keep the game running smoothly.
- Gameplay statistics (Firebase Analytics) help us balance the game. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland they stay off unless you agree; elsewhere they are on, and anywhere you can switch them off in the game.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Who we are
Triangle Striker (“the game”) is a mobile game made by inningsstudio (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the game handles, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the game on Google Play, package com.innings.trianglestriker.
What stays on your device
The game saves the following in its own private storage on your phone. It is not uploaded to us.
- Campaign progress: unlocked levels, stars, best scores, shards, pilot level and the ship skins you own or have equipped.
- Your settings: stick sensitivity, left-handed layout, sound, music, haptics, graphics and accessibility options.
- Local game statistics: counters and a short log of recent game events (for example, a level started or finished), with a random identifier created for your install. The game keeps these on the device to tune itself, and they leave it only while gameplay statistics are on (see Firebase Analytics below).
You can erase your campaign progress at any time from Settings → Account. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its storage in your phone’s settings, deletes all of it.
Information collected by services in the game
The game uses the following services, all provided by Google. Each collects information directly from your device under its own terms, and sends it over an encrypted connection.
Google AdMob (advertising)
Shows the optional rewarded ads (for a revive or double shards) and the occasional ad between levels. AdMob may collect:
- your device’s advertising ID and other device identifiers;
- your IP address, which can indicate your approximate location;
- device and app information, such as model, operating system, language and app version;
- how you interact with ads, such as views and taps, and diagnostic information about ad performance.
Google uses this to deliver and measure ads, limit how often you see the same ad, prevent fraud and, where you have agreed or the law allows, personalise ads. Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports)
If the game crashes, Crashlytics sends a crash report: the technical details of the error, your device model, operating system and app version, device state such as free memory and orientation, the time of the crash, and a Firebase installation identifier. We use crash reports only to find and fix bugs.
Firebase Performance Monitoring
Measures how quickly the game starts, how smoothly screens draw and how network requests perform, along with device information, app version and a Firebase installation identifier. We use it only to find and fix slowdowns.
Firebase Remote Config
Lets us change a few settings in the game without an update, for example to tell you that a new version is available or that an update is needed. To fetch these settings, the game sends a Firebase installation identifier, the app version, and your device’s language and country.
Firebase Analytics (gameplay statistics)
When it is on, the game sends events such as levels started, finished or retried, together with device information, app version, approximate location derived from your IP address, and app instance identifiers. We use them to see where players get stuck and to balance difficulty.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and wherever the game cannot yet tell where you are, Analytics stays off until you agree: the game asks you once, after the tutorial, and if you say no or never answer, nothing is sent. Everywhere else it is on from the start. Wherever you are, you can switch it off, or back on, in Settings → Account → Share gameplay stats. When it is off, collection stops and anything not yet sent is deleted from your device.
Google Play
If you choose to rate the game, the review is handled by Google Play under Google’s terms. We see only the public rating and review, as every developer does. Google Play also provides us with aggregated install and crash statistics.
Google’s own handling of this information is described in the Google Privacy Policy and Privacy and Security in Firebase.
Advertising choices
- Consent. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game shows Google’s consent message before any ad is requested. It asks whether Google and its partners may store and use information on your device for personalised ads and measurement. Ads are shown only after you answer, and if you decline, any ads you see are not personalised. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Account → Privacy policy → Ad consent.
- Advertising ID. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads (the exact path varies by device). Once it is deleted, apps can no longer use it for personalised ads.
- Personalised ads. You can manage how Google personalises ads at My Ad Center.
- Ads are optional where they give a reward. You can always decline a rewarded ad and keep playing.
Permissions the game uses
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
| Internet and network state | Loading ads, sending crash and performance reports, and fetching remote settings. The game itself plays fully offline. |
| Advertising ID | Used by Google AdMob as described above. |
| Vibration | Haptic feedback during play. You can turn it off in Settings. |
| Wake lock, foreground service, install referrer | Requested by Google’s ad and Firebase libraries so they can finish sending their data reliably and attribute installs. |
The game does not ask for your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files.
How we use information
- To run the game and remember your progress and settings (on your device).
- To show ads, which keep the game free.
- To find and fix crashes, bugs and slowdowns.
- To tell you about new versions and, rarely, require an update when an old version can no longer work properly.
- Where gameplay statistics are on (see Firebase Analytics above), to understand how players progress and to balance the game.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for money. Information is handled only by the Google services listed above, acting on our behalf or under their own policies, or where the law requires it.
How long information is kept
- Data on your device is kept until you erase your progress, clear the game’s storage or uninstall it.
- Crash reports are kept by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days.
- Performance, Remote Config and (if enabled) Analytics data is kept by Firebase only for the limited periods Google sets for those products. We keep Analytics data for no longer than 14 months.
- Advertising data is kept by Google according to the Google Privacy Policy.
Children
Triangle Striker is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will help remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California or India), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. Because the game has no accounts, we hold nothing that names you. Most of your information is on your device, where you can delete it yourself, and the rest is linked only to random identifiers. To make a request, email us from the address below and include what you would like done. We may ask for your install’s identifier so we can find the right data. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Where information is processed
Google may process information on servers in countries other than yours, including the United States, under safeguards described in its privacy policy.
Security
Information sent by the game travels over encrypted connections, and on-device data sits in the game’s private storage, which other apps cannot read. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we choose trusted providers and collect as little as we can.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the game handles information, we will update this page and its “Last updated” date. For significant changes, we will also tell you in the game or on the Google Play listing.
